Day 9: we dive and go

We dive and go

I went for morning drill. Yes, ladies and gentlemen I went for morning drill. What is it with man 'o' war songs and how funny they are. Today we sang while jogging I heard "we die aro", I was shook. I had to ask until I heard well "we dive and go, anywhere we hear gunshot, we dive and go". It was fun.
After the drill we had a lecture, them NDLEA guys. Ange make una no do drugs.
Right after that I was in clinic either chilling or attending to patients.
As SEAD lectures was going on, Mini was called to bring 2 persons to see some officials. Apparently if was to do some official signings; so to sign our certificate and other things. It was a kind gesture as we are usually in the clinic...right before the rush, they allowed us. I also corrected my name (just changed the capital letter to small letter). When that was over I followed Mini to Mami market to get a haircut; brethren the fine boy re-emerged!

What other interests thing happened today?
1. Fubsy was training for gele tying. He tried oh but I hear they were not satisfied. *I'm guessing here* because dude was amazing! Well done Fubsy.
2. We found Mini's minor lookalike, Leke.
3. Kemi has gone back to Lagos. You people cannot stress her biko! She was in Enugu camp.

Morning drill in action. Yeah, I'm at the back once we turn back 🤣

Day 40: all join, na our papa land

Happy new year!!!!! Yessir! I've been on a break with this blog. It's been one big ride with this service thing oh because a lot of us left Ebonyi state for the holidays after showing up at our PPA. Now we are back or in transit back to really serve our Fatherland. Me? So....I redeployed!!! To FCT-Abuja. Yes, I did. Let's not discuss about my reasons but I did. I'll miss my Ebonyi family but honestly, na earth so  we go still dey communicate. I came into Abuja and went to start my post-redeployment procedure. I've made journeys to the secretariat and I'm almost done...or so I think. I have a new state code but I'm yet to get my PPA. You won't believe it!!!! I saw Lambert and I've seen another girl from Ebonyi camp...and she said there's more if us. Lol! But all na service sha. The queue here is mad, yeah, it's dissolved into one whole soup but I'm not about that pushing life. Ah! I've seen another person. loooooo...

Day 7: Jonah then Joseph

I served punishment oh!!! Today was amazing...well in the end sha. The day started with Felicity and I going for parade. Yes, I went by 5am to the parade ground. I was so clueless!!! 🤣🤦. Apparently our Muslim brothers and sisters go to pray while Christians pray on the parade ground. We had praise and worship songs and then the anthems (Nigeria and NYSC). I didn't even know that the second stanza of our nation's anthem is now referred to as "the national prayer". After that we had a talk by a platoon, I think it was on integrity...abeg don't blame me, it wasn't so interesting but the lady did well. It wasn't a long one. I was really expecting the drills and the singing that comes with it, only for me to hear that we should go. Me that doesn't know how things really go, I was even ready to go back. I hung with my platoon trying to make sure I didn't go astray. Next thing I hear that the ladies in the platoon should wait behind. We waited and ...

Day 15: Emergency emergency!

Emergency, emergency, you never see me coming through! Say what!??!??!!!! So today was cool. They played volleyball but I don't think we have concluded sha...I mean the finals. Dr Ken (did I mention him? He's the doctor sent by Ministry of health to this clinic to help out) handed over to Dr Chris. I hear Dr Chris is a fun person and nice to work with. Dr Ken was so nice and calm. Thank you sir. Another thing, Platoon 10 was in the kitchen today. My people picked beans tire today but TomTom says Ore was just taking pictures 😁 But she worked sha and was tired sef. We (Mini, Anita, Ore and I) went to collect the money they were sharing to us. Let us pray guys, that the true wealth of this nation will be reflected in our bank accounts and the money we get from our government...Amen. Today TomTom wrote an exeat for me, that I'm causing emotional trauma to Mini...lol!!!!!!! When Mini was taking P-Alaxin for malaria or the time around his taking it; TomTom will blame e...
