Over 250 cultures in Ebonyi state.
ABOUT 10am
People of God how far na?
I'm here listening to a cultural lecture in Jamaica hall. Yeah, I'm not on duty now, I'm on night (4pm-5am).
After getting ready for the day this morning (yes, you're right. I didn't go for morning drill...one day soon. 😁), I set out with Felicity to meet up with our platoon. I'm in platoon 10 but I hardly know them yet. Well, with time I hope to be present.
We got our swearing-in papers signed and submitted.
I had to go get food from Mami market before Mini fainted because he was so hungry, tryna call me every 5 minutes. Can't blame him, patients ti poju. I got for myself also, ate and came for this lecture. I'm hearing them say it's for 5hrs, lol! With who please?
Come oh, most of the patients we've sent home are still here...lol! Everybody wants to port but they want to have fun in camp. See them forming guy in their white and white in this hall meanwhile on paper their on exeat from camp, nursing their asthma at home. Issokay.
I'm listening to the lecture oh. Here's a few things the chief said:
1. Yellow cap worn shows that the person is over 83years
2. To get marry their girls here you should have a minimum of 3 years courtship done. Must visit 6-7 times a year to ask for her hand in marriage.
3. Children are joyful trouble.
Issokay. I sha took notes. I'm not sharing the things from the relocation and discipline lecture. It's in the books they've given us (I'm yet to finish reading the bylaws though). One thing is certain though: they want you to stay here with them in Ebonyi state. Jesus take the wheel.
Thank God the lecture didn't last that long, the host had to keep giving stories because those to give the lectures weren't around. I'm sha happy...everyone was, they let us go early.
After this lecture I really wanted to rest but my platoon was going to have practice. Felicity, thank you for hooking me up with details and taking me there too. We are in the same platoon and so we went for dance rehearsals and then volleyball. Y'all don't know but dance-drama-music used to be my secondary school life. Seeing them today and hearing them discuss gave me good chills...I miss those days. I hope that at some point I can join a theatre group because this talent must be enjoyed by God and you my friends.
I'm not sharing what we did... before you go and tell another platoon. We are winning...yes, I said it. We have Ore on our team, serving the ball that will victoriously sit inside your square, Amen? Amen! Funny how she was scared to play but now is a superstar!
Me? I was a mess at serving during volleyball practice 🤣🤣🤣. Kai! Coach in Debrecen will just laugh at me because I remember that's how I started out. But I had FUN!!!! Guys, I've worn my lipstick, I'm ready for camp life!!!! I'm participating 😁
Thank you Billy for the pictures and for everything today.
After this I went to resume at the clinic. Nothing much oh but why can't people tell the truth straight up? You need an exeat because you have waist pain but no, you must make it look deep and be telling me the "genesis of everything" (in his words).
But I stressed myself sha. Lol! I was so tired that I took a nap and left Fubsy, Thomas and Mini to continue. Tomorrow we go light...but wait oh, my platoon is doing the dance tomorrow...I'm on call. Now singing: God will make a way, when there seems to be no way... because I'm going to watch the dance!
Let's see if I go for morning drills...I need that 6packs and fitness!
Special shout-out to Mikky on the drug beat (chief pharmacist). Mikky how far the azithromycin na? 😁

Following from day one. Keep it up. Just reliving my camp experience through yours
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Anderson. Please do you have any advice for me? I'll love that. Thank you.
Delete😀I am not a good adviser sha. But make the most out of your camp. Participate in camp activities when you can. And hide in clinic when you feel overwhelmed. That's how I survived mine
ReplyDeleteLol! Thank you. We're just 4 doctors so we are almost in the clinic. We literally have to make time out for other activities.
DeleteThank you once again.
